  • Hello family and friends. We don’t like asking for anything, but in this case, we’re at a loss. Our Grace was hit by a car (who drove off) on Monday and has been in critical condition on and off. The vet bills are piling on us this December. She has been through the wringer. So far, she has had to stay overnight twice in the emergency hospital and a long, painful (very unnecessary) stay at another veterinarian office. Upon arriving at the vet, she was essentially held hostage for 7 hours, while bleeding profusely, a surgery was then denied after an entire day of bleeding, and suffering, because of an “elevated heart rate”. The worst part was while picking her up, to take her back to the hospital, as they refused treatment and they also refused to clean her wounds and bandages that were soaked with blood. Nobody should be allowed to see their loved one, pet or human, in that state.

  • On the night of the incident, while rushing to the hospital with Grace bleeding out, my daughter was very strong in helping her hold towels on Grace’s wounds which caused my daughter’s blanket as well as the coat ‘s sleeve she was wearing to become completely submerged in blood. It hurt when I heard my kids beg me to not let our puppy die, and the only thing they want for Christmas is for Grace to be alive. As many have said, Grace is a good puppy, but made a mistake in running out to try to play with another puppy across the street. At the moment, our bills are totaling $11,000

Please help us save our Grace for Christmas.
