All Together for Xavier Ortiz

Dear Friends and Family,

This is Xavier, my son. I would describe him as an incredibly easy going, polite, loving and caring part of our family. And as any 20-year-old
boy does, he loves to play basketball and video games.

Unfortunately, the night of April 15th, 2021, his life changed after having a stroke located in the stem of his brain which caused him to be
rushed to the ER. The day before, he felt a slight migraine with symptoms that he hadn’t felt before. His girlfriend and I took him straight to
the hospital in which he experienced medical negligence, and left us with no information.

My son suffered at his young age of 20. Seeing Xavier go from completely healthy to his current condition is something that words cannot
describe, what I, his father, his sister, and the rest of his family are going through.

After a couple months at the hospital, he was transferred to a Rehab center, in which his condition has been improving on a weekly basis;
like smiling to us.

Although he’s making good progress, the journey ahead is looking financially challenging, and will be a long road for all of us. We are looking for help from anyone that can provide us some support to cover medical expenses which won’t be covered through the insurance.

Our main obstacles are the following: paying for current and future medical bills, and any adjustments to be made for when Xavier comes home (any adds to the room and adjustments to bath). All donations and postings are truly appreciated, given the world circumstances and
everybody’s personal difficulties.

Xavier’s recovery process has been a roller coaster with good and bad times, in which our faith and strength had been tested. However, our hearts are always lifted by experiencing God’s mercy towards us, knowing that his love is everlasting, his power is greater than any obstacle, that his plan is perfect and nothing will happen out of his control. He has granted us hope during this difficult time and noticing Xavier’s
strength and love to life is making us realize how important it is for us to keep on fighting with him until he conquers his condition and come’s back home.

We know that miracles are possible, and with God’s help and yours, Xavier will be able to make his dreams come true. We are excited to
keep you updated on Xavier’s growth. Thank you to any donors, those who share, and those who keep Xavier in their hopes and/or prayers.

Queridos Amigos y Familia;

Les presento a Xavier, mi hijo, a quien describo como un chico relajado, educado, amoroso y siempre pendiente de su familia. Como
cualquier muchacho de 20 anos, le encanta jugar basketball y videojuegos. 

Desafortunadamente, la noche del 15 de Abril del 2021, su vida cambio después de tener un infarto cerebral que causo que lo lleváramos
de emergencia a la Sala de Urgencias. Un día anterior, Xavier tuvo un cuadro de migraña con síntomas que nunca había experimentado, su
novia y yo, lo llevamos directo al hospital en el cual sufrimos negligencia medica y falta de información por parte de los doctores. 

Mi hijo sufrió a su corta edad de 20 años. No hay palabras para describir lo que su hermana, padre, resto de la familia y yo hemos
experimentado al ver como su salud se vio tocada y fue transformada. 
Después de un par de meses en el hospital, Xavier fue transferido a un Centro de Rehabilitación, en el que cada semana su condición tiene una pequeña mejoría, uno de los ejemplos es que abre sus ojos y nos sonríe. 

A pesar del progreso que hemos presenciado a su lado, se avecina un periodo largo y con muchos retos financieros. Por lo cual venimos
humildemente a pedir ayuda a todos ustedes para apoyarnos en cubrir todos los gastos médicos que no estarán cubiertos por el seguro
medico. 

Nuestros principales retos son los siguientes: Pagar las deudas medicas que se han acumulado, así como las que se irán generando y crear
los ajustes necesarios en casa para cuando Xavier pueda regresar con nosotros. De antemano, quiero decirles a todos que dadas las
circunstancias que estamos viviendo en el mundo y cualquier reto personal por la cual este pasando cada persona, estamos sumamente
agradecidos por las donaciones y/o por compartir esta pagina en sus redes sociales.

El proceso de recuperación de Xavier nos ha dado buenos y malos momentos en los cuales nuestra fe y fuerza han sido probadas. Sin
embargo, nuestros corazones se avivan al experimentar la gracia de Dios hacia nosotros, el saber que su amor es para toda la eternidad y
que su poder es mas grande que cualquier obstáculo. Los planes de Dios son perfectos y nada pasara fuera de su control, El es BUENO y
nos da esperanza durante estos tiempos difíciles. Ser testigos de la fuerza que tiene mi hijo, y el amor que le tiene a la vida, nos enseña lo
importante que es que sigamos luchando con el hasta que llegue a la meta y vuelva con nosotros a casa. 

Sabemos que los Milagros son posibles, y con la ayudad de Dios y de ustedes, Xavier podrá hacer sus sueños realidad. Nos emociona mantenerlos al tanto en cuanto al progreso de mi hijo. Muchas gracias a los que donan, los que comparten, y los que mantienen a Xavier en sus
oraciones y/o esperanzas.
