All Systems Row consists of 6 UK South Coast rowers seeking to raise awareness of sustainable solutions to climate change.
We will be leaving London Tower Bridge for an estimated 35 days alone at sea. We are mentally and physically training to undertake the World’s, Toughest Rowing race of circumnavigating GB.
The race to the start line is, in itself, a significant challenge because we must meet massive financial commitments. Each of us have made a significant financial contribution and we are targeting £6,000 through generosity of our fellow supporters whilst we seek corporate funding.
On this site you can make donations, send £10 to have your name on the boat and purchase All Systems Row merchandise (please message us or see our website for more info!).
Raising funds will make this massive challenge possible and enable All Systems Row to achieve the following goals:
o Raise awareness and funds for sustainability options by tackling increasingly unpredictable and extreme weather around GB as a result of climate change, whilst relying solely on solar panel energy.
o To partner with local businesses and be able to promote UK based success all around the country, literally.
o Represent women in sport, key workers, amputee and veterans athletes.
o Complete the ‘World’s Toughest Rowing race’ unassisted and continuous, achieving 5 world records along the way;
The first amputee to ever circumnavigate GB, the oldest and the youngest crew member to circumnavigate GB, beat the current World Record of 52 days and the first and only group of 6 women to ever complete the challenge!
o Generate lots of media coverage to promote all of the above AND raise money for the provision of renewable energy sources in less economically developed countries. This little rowing boat will contribute to the much bigger picture!
