All Serbian Saints Church Basketball Court

3Prsta Serbian Youth Group, under the auspices of All Serbian Saints Serbian Orthodox Church in Mississauga are fundraising for a long-planned goal of our youth in our parish - a full size outdoor basketball court. All donations will be directed to All Serbian Saints Church which will issue income tax receipts at the end of the fiscal year.
Our research shows that two permanent basketball nets, set in concrete, with a maximum size court, with some surrounding landscaping will cost about $40,000. We intend to use construction workers within our Serbian community, as well as our own volunteer labour, to minimize cost.
This will be a new endeavour at our church property which aims to gather our youth in a healthy sports atmosphere, all the while being tied directly to our Holy Orthodox Church.
The anticipated launch - opening tournament is at the Serbian Vasar on September 7th 2019.
