Our amazing friend and coworker, Katie, has been bravely battling breast cancer since 2020. If you know Katie, you know the kind of light she brings into every room. She is kind, funny, compassionate, and has touched so many lives through her work as a physiotherapist and simply by being herself.

Through all the ups and downs of treatment, Katie continued to work right up until a few weeks ago, always giving her patients her best, always lifting others up even when she was struggling herself. She has truly been an inspiration to everyone around her.

Recently, Katie’s journey has shifted. She is now receiving palliative comfort care, surrounded by the love of her husband, family, and friends. As she focuses on this time together, we want to do everything we can to support her and her husband.

This fundraiser will help ease the financial stress of medical costs, allow her husband to take time away from work to be with her, and help provide support for him in the days ahead.

Katie has given so much of herself to others, now it’s our turn to show her and her family just how loved and supported they are.
