When people say that work friends are like family, I can't think of a better person than my co-worker Rajinique Austin. And when issues arise in family, it's time to come together and help the person that is always there in the time of need. This time, my friend and fellow coworker is needing help and I've come here hoping that I can get just that.

I have worked with Deputy Austin for over five years now and last year she was diagnosed with Stage 5 Kidney failure. Between appointments, treatments, medical bills, and everything else life has thrown at her, she has continued to be present at work and is still there for everyone else. Despite work, her medical bills and other expenses have taken most, if not all, her money to the point where she needs a reliable vehicle to get to and from work. If able to raise enough money, we would love to surprise her with a vehicle as well as some money to help her with living expenses. I can't say enough good things about Deputy Austin and what she means to not only our squad but also our department. It's time for the community to come together and support our own! Whether you are able to donate a little or a lot, any dollars will be used to help support her in this time of need.
