Allison Duhe, wife and mother of three, was diagnosed with a rare form of breast cancer right before Christmas. Thank goodness for early detection, Allison has a good prognosis, but requires extensive reconstructive surgery. This surgery will leave Allison out of work for weeks . Allison works as a speech language pathologist, but to keep up with her kids’ busy schedule, she works by the hour. Seeing as Allison does not have sick leave, this will leave a financial strain on their family with this unforeseen medical hardship.
