HELP ABBEY FIGHT THIS CANCER…ALL-IN-4 ABBEY

Her name is Abbey Rutledge and she is 44 years old. She is currently battling clear cell carcinoma cancer. It all started early in 2023 when Abbey was experiencing excruciating pain in her lower abdomen. At first Abbey thought it was gas until I took her to the ER on September 21, 2023 and that’s when she thought her life has ended as they did a cat scan and told her that she has stage IV metastatic cancer. Abbey also has lymnodes that has spread throughout her lungs and neck area. Not knowing what to do or what to expect she started researching and at that point is when she told herself “I got this and I’m gonna fight”’ Not having any medical we had to apply her for HMSA Quest. We put all our faith in her doctors and nurses as they ran many tests and did a biopsy. Abbey started chemotherapy in October 2023 and with many pain medications, follow ups, 5-6 hours every 3 weeks of chemo (she just completed her 8th round of chemo) there has been no change, no growth, no positive tumor markers. Her brother looked into a treatment center Envita Medical Center in Scottsdale, AZ and that’s when Abbey has decided to go away for more intense treatments. The funds from Go Fund Me will help Abbey receive the treatment she needs that is personally targeted to her health, her life, her cancer. Being from Hawaii we are very limited to healthcare within our state and especially out-of-state. Abbey will be on a 14 week treatment plan that will target the cancer. She just had a permacath inserted today that feeds directly to the tumor. Funds will be used to pay off medical bills and all other necessary medications she will need on this journey. It will also be used to her road to recovery and get her home to her loved ones, family and friends. Last thing, don’t be afraid of cancer, learn about it, get checked early but most important thing we all have learned is that no one should go through cancer alone.
