All I want for Christmas is water for my family!

They say desperate times call for desperate measures, so I find myself here. After what has been one of the hardest years of my life due to losing a job I loved and struggling with mental health issues, I was finally on my way back. As of Friday, Dec 2, we were supposed to be back on track. Then, I woke up Thanksgiving morning to water pouring out of my garage, and of course, it has turned out to be the worst case scenario.

I have a slab leak in the main line from the meter to the house that floods the garage if water is turned on to the house. Because it is the line into the house and not part of the structural plumbing, neither homeowners insurance or home warranty will help, so I throw myself at the mercy of my friends, my family, their friends, their family. Please help if you can, and share if you can't that maybe we can find some people with the means and heart to help my wife and my disabled daughter to have water in the home. It's amazing how much you take running water for granted until you don't have it.

I will attach the cheaper of the two estimates I have which is for $6475 to repair. I have $1000, but just don't have the additional, and honestly have no idea when/where I might even get that much more money from. It will take months and months. Please help my family who has been so great in loving and supporting me through this very tough 12 month period to not have to continue to struggle without water to bathe, clean, etc. I have tried to put the pieces back together, but this one is breaking me. PLEASE HELP.
