All for Jao ❤️

My name is Sue Bramwell and I am with the Decorah High School class of ‘92. We recently lost a classmate due to COVID-19. Mike Hubbard was adored by all who met him. He lived his life to the fullest…always with a smile, a laugh, a wise crack…and always with an honesty that made you want to hug or smack him. He was a one of a kind friend and classmate.

He left behind family, friends, and so many who loved him. Most significantly he left behind Jao, his 4th grade son. His pride and joy and best friend. They were foodies, sharing their culinary creations on hubs.grubs facebook site. They were golfing buddies, football fans (Skol Vikings) and among the best father/son duos you’d ever know.

The class of ‘92 would like to invite everyone who is able to help raise money for Jao’s future education. Our class tossed around different ideas and Hubbard’s friend Andy Rocksvold said it best: “100% of everything should go to Jao, no one else in my opinion...”

So, this is all for Jao; Hubbard’s world, the center of his universe. Every cent raised. It is 100% what Hubbs would’ve wanted.
