Hi, I’m Shannon. I have two cats Pocket (17yrs) and BC (?yrs). It’s come about that all three of us need dental work.
Pocket $2200-$2700
BC $2200-$3300
Me $500-$1000
All three of us are high needs. I have four severe illnesses, am on a pension and work sporadically. Pocket is 17yrs, has inflammatory bowel disease , arthritis and just drained my savings with a bout of pancreatitis that I thought was going to result in her death. BC has Feline Immunodeficiency Virus , feline hyperesthesia syndrome and shotgun pellets lodged under the skin of his back.
My budget is so tight that getting a loan isn’t possible or serviceable. I am not in pain right now, nor is BC, Pocket is. She has two teeth that are resorptive lesions and need extracting. She isn’t eating well and is in pain.
BC has multiple of the same, some broken teeth and a mouth ulcer that thankfully is progressing slower than Pocket’s he is managing for now.
I have a old filling between two teeth that has dislodged and while annoying, isn’t causing any pain yet.
I could get rid of them, Pocket is the love of my life, been with me longer than any relationship and many friendships, no one wants an unknown (6-8?) aged high needs cat with FIV, so, that’s not a realistic option.
I am hoping that people might understand my situation and be able to help me raise as much as I can to get Pocket in ASAP, then BC, then me.
If not, I completely understand and thank you for taking the time to read and be kind.
