Hi, my name is Kirsty. I am Mum to 3 little boys and I work for Doncasters Ross & Catherall Limited. I will be taking on the Yorkshire 3 Peaks with a group of work colleagues to raise money for this charity which is close to my heart.

This year my own son required surgery at the Sheffield Children's hospital after an accident at home.

We stayed at the Hospital for 2 nights. It took 3 surgeons 4.5 hours total to repair his arm and we are now receiving weekly rehabilitation sessions. This is likely to be our lives for 12 - 18months, where it is thought he will make a full recovery.

I cannot sing the praises of the hospital enough. As a traumatised parent, I can say they have been there for my family the whole time and have continued to support us through new challenges . And for my son I can vouch that he is receiving the best care within the best facilities, design specifically for children.
