ALL ABOUT HER day at Lotus House is powered by Gabriela Ortega and Jenesis Alonso who are two entertainment music executives and content creators who live in Miami.

ABOUT LOTUS HOUSE:

Sheltering 1,550+ women, youth and children annually, Lotus House is the largest women’s homeless shelter in the country located in Miami.

Lotus House provides trauma-informed wrap around services such as:

Child and family therapy, parenting classes, resource coordination

Access to medical and mental healthcare

Educational support like after school tutoring, homework help, GED classes

Employment training, workshops, job readiness training

Arts and activities and additional enrichment activities

Housing support and move-out assistance

Lotus House is truly setting the standard on a national level for best practices and innovation. In comprehensive, multi-faceted programming and support services, together, we help women, youth and children emerge from the shadows, give voice to their dreams, and build the foundation for safer, healthier, brighter futures.

The purpose is to celebrate, inspire, and empower the women at the shelter and to provide self-care tools to lighten the load. This day will be a reminder that they are supported, cared for, and important to the community.
