My name is Felicia Limbrick, the CEO and Founder of Survivors For Suicide Prevention. An up and coming APP designed to provide instant access to support for those suffering from suicidal ideations or are in mental health distress. Did you know STATISICS show that suicide has replaced homicide as second-leading cause of death among teens in the U.S? The PROBLEM: Many people are suffering in silence and may not know help is available at the touch of button. The W.H.O. Director-General reported that one person dies every 40 seconds from suicide. In 2022, over 48,000 people died from suicide in the U.S. Mental Health/Illness is on the rise worldwide. The SOLUTION is: an APP designed to allow the user to choose between 3 options: A GPS location finder, an emergency message sent to their emergency contact list or access to 988/an online therapist. My plan is to have the APP become available on Google Play store and Apple Store. My goal is for for ALL 3 MBS to be recommended, by therapist, Hospitals, K-12 Schools, and Colleges and Universities.
