Al-Kolak Family and Affected Families in Gaza

Donation protected

Hi, my name is Dalia Al-Kolak, I live in Cleveland, Ohio. My family overseas has been deeply impacted by the genocide that has recently occurred in Gaza. Early Sunday morning on May 16th 2021, at around midnight, Israeli airstrikes targeted Al-Wahda street in Gaza, bombing 5 civilian surrounding homes. 2 of these homes belonged to my family. A total of 35 innocent civilians were massacred. They were all asleep in their beds when the airstrikes hit without warning. They were buried alive under their demolished homes. Their screams could be heard calling for help, however; due to lack of electricity and resources, paramedics could not get to them until daybreak. A total of 22 of 35 people were from my family alone. This is the forth full-scale bombardment Gaza has endured and it's looking to be the worst. The people of Gaza have been suffering with lack of clean water, electricity, housing, infrastructure, unemployment, and a suffering economy for ongoing years. There was no life before, what will be left for them after the dust settles?

I created this fundraiser as a means to spread awareness to the world about the genocides and illegal war crimes that occur in Palestine, specifically Gaza. The money raised in this fundraiser will 100% be donated to the members of my family left behind and other affected families living on Al-Wahda Street that have no resources to live. This money will be utilized to help build new homes, electricity, water, food, rebuild streets and care for the children who have been left orphaned. Any amount of money would be greatly appreciated and go a long way to help the people of Gaza.
