Aliz’s legs

Hi, my name is Denisa and I’m fundraising for my daughter Aliz to undertake a leg surgery in Austria.
Aliz was born premature at 29 weeks of pregnancy and unfortunately she had a bleed into the brain and she developed cerebral palsy (right hemipligia) and hydrocephalus, which is basically an enlarged head due to accumulating fluid in the brain, which is currently managed with a permanent solution of a VP shunt connected to her brain and draining of the fluid.
Despite doctors prognosis, she began to crawl, then walk (at the age of 2,5 - thanks to the fantastic physiotherapists abroad, who didn’t give up on her), she speaks two languages and she is the brightest and smiliest little person who brings joy to everyone who meets her.
Aliz was doing well, we kept taking her to treatments abroad and managed to keep her stable…
Recently she has started to have difficulty to walk, she has pain in her leg and she can’t weight bare on her right leg, which is causing her to bend to the side more and more which can lead to problems with her spine and her mobility.
After a lot of research I found an orthopaedic specialist in Austria, who could help her to stabilise her posture and walking, or by operating her leg to avoid the future problems.
Aliz is such a happy child who is always on the move, likes to run around and be independent.
Please help us financially to undertake these  treatments and possible surgery in Vienna.
Thank you for reading our story.
