Hiii! My name is Aliyana, and I am writing to let you know about an incredible opportunity that God has blessed me with. I will be joining a team for a short term mission trip to Tanzania, Africa with Soles For Jesus. In May 2026!

I’ve only been going to church for about a year and a half, but in that short time, God has truly made me reborn. He has completely changed me! it’s incredible how fast He works when we give Him our whole heart. I’m not who I used to be. My life isn’t just mine anymore, it’s His! The Joy of the Lord is the truth! May He use me for the glory of His name. May I be a light in every room I enter, showing that Jesus is alive and that He lives in me.

In Tanzania, our team will travel to remote villages where we will wash feet, share the love of Jesus, give shoes, and provide a meal to people in need. People in these areas walk for hours just to receive shoes and while we care for their physical needs, we also get to share the life changing message of Jesus Christ!

Here’s how you can partner with me:

1. Pray for me. That God would go before me, work through me, and let His light shine through me. Pray that hearts would be open to the Gospel and that lives would be forever changed

2. Support me financially. The total cost of this 10-day trip is $4,114, which includes airfare and in-country expenses. I’m responsible for making monthly payments, so any early support you’re able to give would be a huge help and deeply appreciated!

We often take shoes for granted. But in many parts of Africa, children can’t go to school and adults can’t work without them. And when we offer them a pair, we get to kneel down, wash their feet, and tell them about the One who washes away sins and gives eternal life Jesus Christ.
