Aliyah Harris SJS medical fund

My name is Melissa, Aliyah and her family are very special to me. When I was at my lowest with Post Partum Depression, Aliyah’s mother Tamecia came into my life. She helped me mother my new baby, allowed me to rest, and since then her family had become my family. Since then we have been extremely close and I can’t imagine our lives without them.

On Christmas Eve of 2020, 21 year old Aliyah had a rare allergic reaction to a medication she was on. This reaction progressed to Stephen Johnson’s Syndrome (SJS) and she has been in the hospital fighting since. Since day one Aliyah’s symptoms have unfortunately become progressively worse. Due to covid and all the restrictions it was increasingly impossible to find ahospital that can provide the appropriate care she desperately needs. 

The hospital she is currently at was finally ableto get her a bed at Vanderbilt in Nashville. Sincethe hospital is out of state, her mother will be traveling with her to be by her side as much as possible. 

I’ve started this gofundme in hopes of raising enough money to help Tamecia with lodging, medical bills, and any other things they will needduring this time. It is estimated Aliyah will be hospitalized for a minimum of 4 months.
