Help Aliya compete at Dubai Grand Prix Paralympics
Spende geschützt
Hear from Aliya:
My name is Aliya. I am a Paralympic athlete in track and field. Since birth, I was left without parents, and doctors diagnosed me with cerebral palsy (cerebral palsy). I was confined to a wheelchair and, according to the basic diagnosis, had a number of other diseases that predicted 1 year of life. At the age of five, I got into the SOS Children's Village of Almaty (a family-type orphanage for orphans), after going through three surgeries and numerous rehabilitations, I was able to fully walk and run. I am grateful to God that I can run professionally and glorify His Name with my life example. There were many difficulties, but God wrapped these difficulties in his Glory. My distances are 100m 200m and shot put. I am a multiple champion and medalist of the championships and Spartakiads of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and champion of the Paralympic Games of Kazakhstan. I am a prize-winner of international paraathletics competitions. Unfortunately, the results of the Kazakhstani competitions are not valid, so I need to attend international competitions every year to confirm my results. To meet the standard for big starts, I need to collect financial support for the Grand Prix in Dubai. This Grand Prix will be held from February 6-13. I believe that your support will glorify His name and give me the opportunity to get to the World Championships or the Paralympic Games one day.
I first met Aliya when she and her family were in Boston a couple of years ago. She has a heart of gold and seeks to be a blessing with the gifts and opportunities she's been given- through competing, coaching and encouraging others to likewise overcome by God's grace. Let's help Aliya get to Dubai to compete in the Grand Prix! Any gift would be appreciated. I will transfer funds to her from this GoFundMe appeal. -Michael
