Jordan and I have been friends since we were in second grade. She and her family have shown me what it means to be altruistic. Alix has been the definition strength for her family and all of those that know her. She lost her 1st husband to a battle with cancer but continued to be a rock for her 4 children. I received a phone call today that Alix’s husband of 11 years, Jerry West suffered a stroke. He is currently in ICU where Alix is unable to visit him due to COVID-19 precautions in place. Jerry is an Army veteran and fighter but his condition is day to day with extensive long term care required. Please keep them in your prayers. If you feel it in your heart to help this family, I know anything would help lessen the load during this difficult time.
