Dear All,
You may now know that Al Peel, died on Saturday 1st June. He leaves behind his wife Catherine and children Maddy and Rani.
Catherine has not asked for help. However we know that there is plenty on Catherine's mind and we want to take as many burdens away as possible. One immediate thing that we all know is needed will be to help organise the Wake as we expect a significant turnout. We thought the easiest way to do this would be via a simple fundraising to ensure a fitting send off for Al and a team is helping her with this. We expect people will want to give generously and suggest that anything that is raised beyond these costs will go to Catherine and the children.
Al brought so much joy to so many peoples lives. He was a gentleman. He was funny, outrageous, entertaining, accomplished, honourable and a great friend to all those around him. He deserves a great send off from his friends and we want to do that.
We plan to to run this page for only a short time so that a payment can be made directly to Catherine along with all the messages of support in time for the Wake. Details for the Funeral and wake have now been published and will take place on Tuesday 18th June. Please see the below link for more details and an RSVP.
