My daughter Alissa has thrived in high school and now she is a sophomore at UNL - University of Nebraska- Lincoln. She is working, playing lacrosse, and excelling in her studies all at the same time! She has worked so hard and is blessed with this incredible opportunity.
This trip will give her an experience many of us can only dream of. The total cost of the trip is $7,374.87.
Alissa has been given an amazing opportunity to travel to Singapore for two weeks with other first generation students to learn about the culture, diversity, struggles, as well as the country’s push for racial and religious harmony.
The main goal is for the students to explore and be exposed to a country that is famous for its diversity. Not only can you often find Christian, Hindu and Buddhist temples, side by side, but it is also small enough that the students will be able to explore and experience so much of the country’s food, art, and she will get to see firsthand how vastly different cultures and nationalities can come together to live in unity.
She is working so hard to come up with a lot of the cost, but for a college student - $7400 is a lot to cover. Please help if you are able to!!
