Alison's Path to Recovery and Peace

Please Help- I'm not sure how I can do it. Heal, Grieve, and Rebuild After Cancer, Loss, and Injustice.

Hi, my name is Alison. I have spent the last year doing everything I could to survive — fighting cancer, navigating fear, grieving deep losses, and trying to hold my life together after leaving a narcissistic, abusive relationship.

For a while, I thought I could keep pushing through. But when I lost Marley — my best friend, my sidekick, and my heart — it all became too much.

Marley's loss was the breaking point. I realized I couldn't keep surviving this way — alone, overwhelmed, and in constant fear of what might come next.

Why I'm Asking for Help:

Despite my best efforts to rebuild, new doors kept closing. I found a job, only to have the offer rescinded because of fabricated reports f— and I no longer have the energy to keep fighting battles I shouldn’t have to fight.

I’ve been told over and over: "Focus on your health. Let everything else go."

But it’s nearly impossible to heal when you're drowning — in financial stress, legal fear, and an unrelenting sadness that doesn't let you breathe.

Now, I have the opportunity to quietly leave, to find safety, and to finally begin the real work of healing — but I cannot do it alone.
