Wilson is an approximately 2.5 year old very Special Pup who was Rescued about 2 years ago from a horrifically Abusive & Neglectful situation in the British Virgin Islands. The dog that he is pictured with in the pictures displayed unfortunately succumbed to his Abuse & Neglect shortly prior to Wilson being saved . Unfortunately, due to his history of extensive Trauma, although the has no bite history, Wilson acts out in an aggressive manner (lunging, growling, showing his teeth, etc), when he feels scared or threatened. He is especially triggered by children and some men. This has unfortunately led to several failed Adoptions for Wilson, and a limited number of folks who are willing/ able to give him a chance due to their own personal or family situations. Due to the fact that Wilson has been through several failed Adoptions and back and forth to and from his Foster Home for roughly 2 years now, with little Adoption Interest, we are at the point at which we are in need of Additional Funding for Wilson’s Care.
