As most of you know, my moms (Alison McHugh) breast cancer spread to her brain in April and it's been nothing short of trying to catch our breath with all of the changes required since then.

Originally feeling like we had this pretty well under control as a family, doing the best we can to support, the compounding financial needs and stressors have come to a point we are creating a go fund me for mom to help alleviate some of these stresses.

Mom is no longer able to drive or try to offset her income with any kind of work. Basic daily tasks like organizing what to eat and cooking are incredibly challenging as well.

These funds would go to helping pay her bills, the modifications that need to happen at home for enhanced accessibility, in home care beyond what community care can offer, appointment drives when friends or family aren't available, gas, etc (the list goes on).

My hope is that we can make an already difficult journey a little less stressful by helping to minimize this stressor for her.
