Alison Watson -snowboarding accident

Donation protected
On January 17, 2019, Alison Watson was at work finishing a snowboarding run when she had an accident resulting in a severe break of her arm. In addition to being a beloved snowboard instructor, Alison is a wonderful friend, mother and wife.  After undergoing surgery to repair her humerus with a plate and over a dozen screws, she will no longer be able to teach skiing and snowboarding to students for the rest of the season nor will she be able to make and sell her pottery for several months while she heals. While Alison loves both of these jobs they are important sources of income for her family. Because Alison was not "on the clock" when this accident occurred, it appears that worker's compensation will not be available to cover the be significant medical expenses and lost wages.  We hope to help her family during this difficult time while she recovers. The main things we hope to accomplish in raising money are to help cover the current and future medical costs and lost income while she is recuperating. Thank you for helping and God bless!!
