My name is Lori and I’m Alison’s grandmother, Alison’s arm was hurt in a Feb 2021 accident, though the brachial artery healed on its own the nerves that travel to her hand are now absent in testing. Alison will need repair and possibly grafting of the nerves to be able to restore use and strength of her fingers, hand and wrist. We hope that this will also reduce the pain she feels. Imagine not being able to hold a child’s hand because it hurts. Time for repair is not on their side. They must act soon. Without surgery Alison will lose use of her arm.

Alisons family is amazing. They are the first to be everywhere to give support. They don’t need to know you and they just jump in. So they are very humbled by the emotional support they have gotten from our community but now they need more help. They do have insurance but deductibles are high and our local hospital is not equipped to perform the surgery that she needs. Alison will travel for appointments, the surgery and her parents Chris and Laura will be spending the nights with her. Alison has exhausted her allowed paid physical and occupational therapy appointments, it will now be out of pocket.

Please help 5 year old Alison have a chance to regain normal use of her hand, help stop the struggle to do normal kid things.
