Hi, I'm Richard and I'm fundraising for Alison Scott. In September, having been in full health and self-employed, Ali was suddenly diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) - a rare and aggressive blood cancer that is hard to treat and requires a brutal chemotherapy regime and ultimately a bone marrow transplant if the treatment works. She will mostly be in hospital for the next 6 to 12 months and government funding and benefits will not cover her rent, bills, food or items she needs for Hugo 14 and Louis 17. We are currently aiming to raise £10,000, which would help her and her boys through this challenging time. She is currently in hospital for a 28 day chemotherapy treatment as an in-patient. This will probably have to be repeated at intervals before she is able to qualify for the bone marrow transplant which could then lead to a full recovery. Anything you can give would be wonderful and hugely appreciated.
