Alison, Chad and Harper

Chad Wilson-Struntz is one of our teammates at Webstaurant 871. Chad has a daughter in the 3rd grade her name is Harper Struntz. She had been having intermittent health issues, with no definitive diagnosis, for several weeks. On 10/14/23, Chad received word that Harper’s condition had suddenly become much more severe and that she was being transported to the hospital. She was admitted to UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh immediately upon arrival. Harper may have to have multiple surgeries as she navigates this process. Over the past week, she has undergone open heart surgery to implant an LVAD to assist with blood flow from her heart.
