Hi, my name is Derek and I’m raising emergency funds for my Aunt Alison and Uncle Bob who have been severely impacted by the tragic Maui fires. They have lost their home, cars, boat, work equipment, pet and all personal belongings in Lahaina.

As the fire approached they ran for their lives, abandoning their vehicle when they were trapped in gridlocked traffic as houses were exploding around them. Alison lost her phone when she ducked for safety as a truck exploded. They rescued Bob’s elderly mother by nothing short of a miracle. The evacuation center they fled to had to be evacuated. They spent the night in a car before a friend temporarily opened up an under-construction-home to them, with no water or power.

Alison and Bob are kind, humble people who own a small, local business that will be impacted for months, if not years because of the fire. Please consider donating and sharing this campaign.
