Alisha's New Knee

Hi, my name is Kristy Cook. If your seeing this you know my sister Alisha Brimm and by now have likely seen her post and pictures of her old knee. I call it her old knee because lets face it she needs a new one! It took me a few days and a lot of persuasion to convince her that we all want to help and a go fund me account is one easy way for us to do it near and far.

Here's the story...

"I let river out to use the bathroom and she got distracted and went running over to the neighbors. I went chasing after her and tripped over their broken pavement on the drive way. I started screaming for help because I couldn't stand and when I tried to touch my knee it didn't feel right at all. Ended up at the ER with both of my littles until 3 am but they were champs and the best helpers."

Fast forward the xrays do not look good and Alisha is being referred to a surgeon.

Surgery has been scheduled for July 12 and estimated to cost $7k or more, this isn't considering the time she will also be off of work for surgery and healing. Anyone who knows Alisha knows how active of a lifestyle she has, this surgery is imperative for her to continue being a "get outside and play" mom!

River feels just awful! Anything you could give to help Alisha and her family through this time is greatly appreciated and if all you can give at this time is your prayers that is MORE than enough!
