Who: Alisa is a bright, energetic, sweet, 13-year-old girl that loves dogs, school, and playing volleyball and loves to volunteer to help the community where she lives.
Alisa’s Story: In March 2019, Alisa was diagnosed with Stevens-Johnson syndrome (SJS). SJS is a rare, serious disorder of her skin and mucous membranes caused by a reaction to medication. It started with flu-like symptoms, a rash, and an eye infection but evolved into hundreds of painful blisters inside and outside her body and she has pneumonia. She is currently in isolation at an Intensive Care Unit hospital and is being treated for Third degree burns in Texas. Recovery will take months. Alisa can’t wait to play soccer and be a kid again!
How You Can Help: Medical bills are stacking up and Alisa’s mom took a leave of absence from work to stay at Alisa’s bedside. THANK YOU so much for considering a donation to Alisa’s GoFundMe campaign and for your prayers! Please help get the word out by sharing the link to Alisa’s fundraising page on Facebook, Twitter, email, text, or other social media. It would mean the world to Alisa and her family!
Please share as much as you can. Every penny counts!
