Hello, my name is Joseph, and I am reaching out to you today with a heartfelt request for support. As a single father, I am the sole provider for my daughter, Ali, and I am doing everything I can to create opportunities that will help her grow, learn, and thrive.

This summer, an amazing opportunity has come up for Ali to once again attend the Frost Valley YMCA East Valley Ranch as well as Camp Mark 7's KODA Camp — a place that offers an incredible environment for children to learn new skills, build confidence, and make lifelong memories. The camp is known for its focus on leadership, outdoor adventure, and community, and I believe it would have a huge positive impact on her personal growth.

However, as a single father with only one income, the cost of sending her to camp is a financial stretch that I am unable to meet on my own. I am turning to the kindness and generosity of friends, family, and anyone who may be able to help to make this dream a reality for my daughter. We were unable to secure financial assistance from the camp from EVR as the camp received low donations this year.

Why This Means So Much:

1. Personal Growth: The camp's supportive environment will empower her to step out of her comfort zone, try new things, and realize her potential. I truly believe this experience will help her grow into a stronger, more confident young woman, ready to take on whatever comes her way. To gain new friends plus to strengthen horsemanship and be with other campers that also love horses as well as other KODAS.

2. Life-Changing Experience: Both are known for fostering leadership, teamwork, and outdoor skills. I truly believe this experience will open new doors for her, teaching her valuable lessons she will carry with her for the rest of her life.

3. A Chance to Just Be a Kid: As a single parent, it’s sometimes hard to provide my daughter with the opportunities she deserves — experiences that help her develop her sense of independence, forge friendships, and just enjoy being a child. This camp offers her the space to do just that.

The Total Cost:

The camp fees total $3,171, which covers tuition, meals, and activities. While I am doing my best to save up and make it work, I need your help to make it happen.
