Hi, my name is Ali. I am 35 years old, and as of June 9 of this year, I was suddenly told by my spouse of 5 (almost 6) years that they wanted a divorce. I was never given a full, proper reason or answer as to why. I was not allowed to live in the house anymore for over a month and had to stay with some friends. I have many health and medical injuries that caused work to become difficult for me. Over 2 years ago, I was told by my spouse not to worry about working. So, with everything that has happened, I had not saved money or had a proper income. I have since managed to move from Alabama to North Dakota, over 20 hours across the country, with help from a friend and his family. But I now live in an attic, am only able to work about 25 hours a week, and am struggling to save money to have my own apartment.

I am hoping to raise money to get my own apartment, get my own car, and cover living and medical expenses for myself and my two cats. I am starting my life over and just really could use the help and a small win. I don't expect much, but I am in a constant battle with stress and fear about what my future would hold. I just don't want to have to rely on my friend and his family for longer than needed or be a burden on anyone.

Any amount would help, and I would be so grateful to anyone willing to donate. I am terrified of asking for help like this, but the fear is winning, and I don't want to give up.
