Ali's Exchange Trip to Japan

I'm a senior in high school and I've wanted to go to Japan for as long as I can remember. I'm currently in AP Japanese 4, and I was just chosen as one of 8 students selected from Boulder Valley School District for this summer's Japanese Exchange Program. I'll get to go to Japan for 6 weeks and stay with a family and travel around the country.
I'm so excited and honored to have been chosen, and grateful to BVSD and the program leaders. Now I need to figure out how to raise the $1500 trip fee ASAP, plus money for other costs (passport, customary gifts for my host family, etc.).
I feel like this trip will be life-changing, and I can't wait to get a chance to explore Japan, be immersed in the culture, and practice and improve my Japanese. Any help I can get would mean so much to me and I'd be happy to do odd jobs for local donors as a thank you.
