Ali's 1st Birthday Party for Camp Mak-A-Dream

You all know me. I'm Ali. I am a two-time survivor, a woman, a dog owner, a friend, a sister, an aunt, and so much more. I now have two birthdays thanks to a stem cell transplant on May 7, 2021. To celebrate, I'm throwing a birthday party. My first birthday party. This party is not just to celebrate you and me, but also the places that make us who we are. Camp Mak-A-Dream is more than a summer camp, it is a home and has been my home to heal since I was 15, after my first dance with Lymphoma. I hope that in celebration of me, my life-saving stem cell transplant, and anyone who has undergone the burden of a cancer diagnosis, you are able to donate for Camp so that they may continue to host those of us who feel outcast because of an illness.

I am asking for a donation of at least $35 per person. Obviously, this donation is technically optional and can be any amount you choose, but with at least $35 per person, I think we will have a substantial contribution to give to Camp!

I've been told that I have cancer twice now, and it was shitty both times. But I am here, I am living, and I am so glad to type those words for you to read! Camp Mak A Dream lifts me and so many others up when we are stuck in a diagnosis. So this is for them, for all of us cancer pros and cancer muggles, and for you and me to celebrate each other.
