Alina’s Road To USA Nationals

My name is Xavier I’m sharing this campaign in support of my Wonder Woman daughter Alina or as her Sensei has called her “Queen Of Bayside”. She’s a Junior Karate practitioner who has been training since 5 years old in traditional Shotokan Karate. She is now 8 years old and loves karate and the push it gives her to bring out the best in herself and feel proud of herself.
I couldn’t be more prouder of her since age 5 she has boldly competed in tournaments from New York to Virginia in over 4 states, Open to Traditional Tournaments including AAU sanctioned tournaments and has placed 1st in all of them. Truly competing with some of the best the states have to offer in her age bracket she has done remarkable feats. Most recently she became Virginia World Cup Grand Champion in kata January 2024 beating out over 15 competitors in the category to become Grand Champion of that tournament in Kata her highest accolade thus far.
This year she wants to take on a new challenge on a grander stage and wants to compete in the USA Karate Nationals event this July 2024 Louisiana. The best the country has to offer will be present this summer in July 2024 and my daughter is among that great company that is pushing for a Gold medal in traditional Kata. She is not a sponsored athlete and this will be her first major national competition. I work as hard as I can to have her train with truly the best in the world, travel and compete. With all the love I have and the love and support of her family we do our best always to get her from tournament to tournament so she can keep doing what she loves to do, have fun and represent herself with the best!
I’m making this campaign in support of her dreams to go to the USA Nationals and represent first of all herself and then also her Sensei and our Grandmaster’s legacy as well. Your contribution is helping us to get there & we are grateful! As you can imagine everything cost a price and besides her fierce dedication towards her own training which is a price being paid with hard work. The cost of air travel, hotel, car rental, food, uniforms, training equipment, competition fees, coaches registration fees, organization affiliation fees, background checks etc. are expenses that accumulate and can hinder great talents either making it to grander stages to showcase their craft or not.
Any little bit you do to share this campaign with others who want to contribute gets us one step closer to her goal of testing herself with the best the country has to offer and to return with the fruits of her labor with a Gold National Karate Title.
My daughter in her age bracket and level is truly the best I believe the country has to offer. Her many accomplishments speak for themselves this is why I have extreme confidence in the level of talent she’s going to bring this summer to the 2024 USA Karate Nationals.
