Alina Safi: Forever in Our Hearts

Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilayhi Raji’un

On August 9, 2025, our beloved daughter, niece, and sister, Alina Safi, returned to her Creator at the tender age of 16 after a tragic car accident in Walnut Creek, CA.

Alina was a gentle soul whose heart was filled with kindness, compassion, and love for everyone around her. She was known for her radiant smile, her respectful nature, and her dream of building a future that would make her family proud. Even at a young age, she embodied patience, generosity, and gratitude — qualities beloved to Allah ﷻ.

Her passing is a reminder that life is a temporary journey and that we are all destined to return to our Lord. While our hearts ache from her absence, we take comfort in the belief that Allah’s promise is true and that those who leave this world with pure hearts will be reunited with their loved ones in Jannah, Insha’Allah.

We pray that Allah ﷻ grants Alina the highest ranks in Jannat al-Firdaus, makes her grave a garden of peace, and reunites her with her family in the Hereafter. We also pray for patience (sabr) and strength for her parents, siblings, and all who are grieving this immense loss.

Alina, you will forever be loved, remembered, and missed.

I created this fundraiser for my niece, Alina Safi, who tragically passed away in a car accident on September 9 in Concord, California. I am her aunt and I organized this campaign to support Alina’s parents with funeral expenses and related costs. All funds raised will be managed by me and then transferred directly to Alina’s parents to help them during this very difficult time.
