Alijah was born 2 months premature with Down Syndrome, 2 holes in his heart, and pulmonary hypertension, has to eat through a G-tube, and spent 111 days in the NICU. Now that he’s home, he requires doctors' appointments 4-5 days a week, a home nurse, and medicines and formula that is burdening us emotionally, financially, and mentally as a family. We owe $5k so far in his bills thus far.

Despite being home from NICU, Alijah’s medical journey is far from over. My husband is the only one working since I have to care for Alijah, therefore making our bills a burden and unable to afford care for him and other expenses as a family.
