Alicia's Tribe Fundraising for the CURE!!!

I want to start by saying THANK YOU to everyone that has reached out to Alicia with their positivity, prayers, gift cards, cash, gifts, and so much more. It’s overwhelming in the best possible way and we really believe you are lifting Alicia’s spirits and giving her the strength that is required to fight this horrible cancer. So many continue to reach out asking what they can do.

Alicia is currently undergoing her second round of chemotherapy at Moffit Cancer Center. Her oncologists are doing everything they can within the limits of available treatment options for stage 4 pancreatic cancer and what is covered by her insurance. As we have researched high and low to find alternative treatments that offer hope of saving her life, AND THERE ARE OPTIONS, we have realized that pursuing those will have a massive financial impact on her and Bill’s lives. It has become clear that out-of-pocket expenses will be the area of greatest need moving forward. With this in mind, we would like to ask for you to consider financial donations to help finance 3 treatments that we are excited to say Alicia is eligible for and has been accepted into- cutting edge immunotherapy by Dr. Jason Williams at William’s Cancer Center in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, and the Nano-Knife procedure performed by Dr. Robert Donoway in South Florida. Both of these doctors have had success with the complete elimination of stage 4 pancreatic cancer. Unfortunately, neither is covered by insurance.

I personally have elevated from ‘hopeful’ to BELIEVER as I have submerged myself in learning about the science of these treatments. These advanced treatments can take us from a grim outlook and limited time to the chance at a long life ahead for Alicia.

There are treatment costs, and travel costs- so many overwhelming costs. We hope that Alicia’s tribe can come together now to help us offset these and allow her to focus completely on her recovery.

If you are not able to donate monetarily but have airline miles or hotel points, those would also be greatly appreciated. Again, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. My hope is that, collectively, we can help Alicia focus on the fight and not the finances.

NOTE: MARRIOTT Points can be transferred for free and you can message me on Facebook if you have points that are minimal and you can't use, or in excess that you can't use- so I can share her Marriott account number for transfer. Marriott is the hotel closest to the hospital in Mexico that we can use points.

DELTA- is our preferred points airline for you flight warriors who can never use the points you have accumulated and can donate those, or so minimal and can't use- we welcome that. I need to still explore if that transfer is free.
