Alicia’s Broken Heart

Hey everyone! Back in June I had the scariest experience of my life as the mechanical valve I had moved and sliced open my heart. I had to have the mitral mechanical valve replaced as long as getting an aortic valve replacement, as well. They had to use a patch to fix my heart which messed up the flow of things, so I had to get a pacemaker too. Recovery is hard and with medicine and trips to Emory… money is short. My husband missed work to help me and be with me. If you can donate GREAT… but if all you can give are prayers and happy thoughts… I need those too. I am now trying to get on the transplant list and need money for gas and meds. Going down to Atlanta all the time is expensive with gas and parking.
