Alicia's Heart Journey to Recovery

Family and friends this is hard to ask from anyone. I'am Alicia's mother Veronica Lopez, my daughter Alicia was diagnosed with Heart Failure on August 10th, 2019. 4 days after giving birth to her beautiful baby girl. She was only 27 yrs old when her life/health was stolen from her and she has not been the same ever since. She has been devastated and overwhelmed  since she got this horrible news. Alicia started off with shortness of breath and swollen feet. Then the next night when she laid down after putting the baby to bed she felt as if she was drowning. She had a anxiety attack while she was trying to catch her breath back. She then got rushed to the ER. Where  she was diagnosed with pneumonia, postpartum, dilated cardiomyopathy, and congestive heart failure. Her heart rhythm is at a 23-28 and the cardiologist claims that her heart can stop at any time. It hurts my daughter Alicia so much that she will not be able to witness her 7 beautiful children grow and be a part of their future. Her husband is very supportive and is doing his best to help his wife through this life changing trauma. He fears of having to deal with the tragedy of losing his beautiful loving wife at any time. The cardiologist is recommending a medication and a heart pacemaker to help her manage her heart function better. Unfortunately,  she will have to pay out of pocket. Her insurance only covers a portion of the amount. Please if you can find it in your heart to help a loving mother, daughter, sister, wife, and friend with any kind of donation to support Alicia through her heart recovery journey, it would really mean so much to all of us! We want to enjoy and cherish her presence for as long as we can because she is very loved by all of us. This fundraiser will help towards her treatments, expenses towards her health, and as heavy and hard it is for me to say its towards her funeral cost.
