Help Fund Alicia’s College Dream for Amaree

My name is Sarah Fish, and I was lucky enough to be a friend and coworker of Alicia Bunn at the Duke University Office of Development.

Tragically, Alicia, passed away on November 16, 2020. With the help of Demetrius Holder, we set up this page to honor Alicia, and to benefit her remarkable 13 year old son, Amaree (Guy).  Alicia was one of a kind! She was smart, funny, a little sassy :) and a hard worker. She loved her family and friends. Her beautiful smiIe was known to everyone. She was a huge part of our office life, and she will be forever missed.

As you can imagine, Amaree is a fine young man; kind, responsible, and an honor roll student. Alicia was determined that Amaree be on the college track, and he is. Let’s remember Alicia by fueling her dream for Amaree’s college education.  Please donate whatever you can to this education fund.  When the fundraiser is complete,  we will put this money into an NC 529 Education Plan.  Thank you for your generosity!
