Alicia Ponce Rodriguez Memorial Fund

On Friday, January 13th our beloved mother, Alicia Rodriguez, passed away unexpectedly and left us in disbelief and brokenhearted. As you can imagine that evening our father, Valentin, lost his best friend and soulmate. Our parents were married for 58 wonderful years. We ask that in lieu of flowers, you consider donating to a memorial fund set up in her honor to help with our father's ongoing medical expenses and end-of-life costs. El viernes 13 de enero nuestra querida madre, Alicia Rodríguez, falleció inesperadamente y nos dejó con el alma y el corazón roto. Como podran imaginar esa noche nuestro padre, Valentín, perdió a su mejor amiga y compañera de la vida. Nuestros padres estuvieron casados durante 58 maravillosos años. Le pedimos que, en lugar de flores, considere la posibilidad de donar a un fondo conmemorativo creado en su honor para ayudar con los gastos médicos de nuestro papa y los costos de fin de vida. Alicia P. Rodriguez, age 81. Born in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. Beloved daughter of the late Jose Ponce and Marciana Saldaña Hernández, Loving wife of 58 years to Valentin D. Rodriguez, Adored mother of Valentin Ponce Rodriguez, Juan Jose (Elvira) Rodriguez, Alicia J. (Freddy Estrada) Rodriguez and Isaac Rodriguez; Loving grandmother of Valentin, Jose Valentin, Noah, and Arie Rodriguez, Malayna and Liam Estrada, and the late Milo (fur grandchild). Fond sister of late Rogelio Ponce, Amparo Ponce, and the late Dolores Ponce. Visitation Services will be held on Friday, January 20, from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at M. Martinez Funeral Home, 5800 W. 63rd St. Chicago, IL. Funeral Service on Saturday, January 21 at 8:45 a.m. followed by Mass at St. Nicholas of Tolentine Church, with a 10:00 a.m. Mass, 6200 S.
