As many of you have heard, on the evening of May 27th the Roberts Shoes Building in South Mpls. was hit with a fire that completely destroyed many businesses, studios, and residences. One of those studios belonged to a dear friend Alicia Danzig, owner of LuLu Painting. This is a very devastating set back for Alicia as it was a complete loss. Everything she built to support her business is gone as well as priceless personal belongings. She is now faced with the question of how to start over and continue to make a living for her and her 5 year old son.

We are so grateful that nobody was hurt and no lives were lost in this fire. With that, it hurts to see this happen to someone like Alicia. Her business has been her heart and sole for many years and her talents are such a rarity. She is such a bright light and inspiration to all who know her and her positive energy has always been such a gift in my life. I am reaching out in hopes that I can return that gift by helping her get back on her feet.  Any amount helps at this point even if all you can offer are words of encouragement. Lets bind together and get LuLu back so she can continue to make this world a more beautiful place.  We love you Alicia...we got this!!!
