My name is Rachel, and I am starting this fundraiser to support a member of my incredible Mioposto family while she cannot work. Alicia was hit by a truck while walking through a crosswalk on December 4th. She has undergone surgery to repair her broken femur and four teeth that had to be pulled from her gums due to the impact from her chin hitting the pavement.

Alicia is a valued tenured member of our team; doctors tell her she will be out of work for a minimum of two months. She is a mother and grandmother. However, all of her family lives in Spain.
