Alice to Sea – Making tracks for tiny tots
June 1st - July5th
George and Hollie are embarking on a crusade of truly epic proportions to raise money and awareness for a very special cause – and they need your help!
Setting off from Alice Springs on June 1st, the pair will walk & ride across some of the harshest terrain in the country to arrive at the stunning, crystal clear waters of Cable Beach on the 5th of July. That’s a staggering 1698 km in just 35 days!
The gruelling journey takes its inspiration from Robyn Davidson’s 1977 expedition, immortalised in the book and movie, Tracks.
After leaving Alice Springs, the girls will follow the Tanami Track, crossing both the Tanami and Great Sandy Deserts – widely recognised as some of the most isolated and arid environments in Australia.
However big or small, your contribution will go towards helping our most vulnerable tiny tots, with all money raised being donated directly to the Mercy Hospital’s Pram Jam Project and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
Every year in Australia over 48,000 newborn babies need the help of the NICU or Special Care Nursery, and 25,000 are born prematurely. Five babies are stillborn every single day. By donating to George and Hollie’s Alice to Sea walk, you can help to reduce these rates, and provide some much-needed support to the families affected.
Follow the girls’ incredible adventure on Facebook and IG@tracksfortots them as they prepare to embark on this extraordinary feat.
Thanks and please help by spreading the word to increase awareness for this special cause.

More info about George & Hollie
George lives in Melbourne with her husband Ryan and three girls (Lily, Isabelle and Maggie). George loves the outdoors and keeping active. She is passionate about the cause, as all three of her girls were born prematurely as a result of life threatening pregnancy complications.
Hollie has a genuine love of the bush and Australian outback. In her spare time she loves long distance hiking both locally and abroad. Born with a congenital heart disease, Hollie and her family know first hand the enormous support families require when their babies are in hospital.
