Hello friends and family,
We are reaching out during a pivotal time in our family’s journey. Our precious daughter, Alice, was born with a complex congenital heart condition. She has faced it with remarkable courage, enduring multiple catheterizations and now, her third open-heart surgery at Stanford Hospital in Northern California. Through it all, Alice has remained full of life— her playful spirit and unwavering strength continue to inspire us.
We are committed to being by Alice’s side every step of the way. Jason has taken unpaid personal leave so we can remain together as a family.
As a family of three primarily living on one income, we face the challenge of covering both our living expenses back home and the costs of staying near Stanford Hospital.
We’ve set a goal of $35,000, which will help cover:
- Temporary living expenses near the hospital (lodging, food, and transportation)
- Household expenses back home (rent and bills)
- Medical expenses not covered by insurance (approximately $3,000)
- Medical insurance premiums during Jason’s unpaid leave (approximately $4,232)
- The financial gap from Jason’s lost income
