2 and a half years ago, my hero, my dad, died after a short and valiant battle with cancer. It was a really hard time for my family to adjust, first to the diagnosis, and then to the loss. However, one thing that made that difficult journey a little bit more bearable was Macmillan Cancer Support, who provided practical assistance with their nurses in the hospital, but also great advice and services on their website and the extended Macmillan network.

Every year, Macmillan helps thousands of families like mine, supporting them through some of the lowest moments of their lives, and providing a little bit of light in an incredibly dark time.

On September 12th, to honour my father, I will be running a marathon on my 25th birthday, and supporting Macmillan as a thank you for all they did to support me and my family. Please help me do this by donating generously.
