Support Alice's transplant surgery
Donation protected

Hello, my name is Alice McEwen-Mitchell, and I’m reaching out to ask for your support as I navigate a difficult health journey. As a 17-year-old high school student with a love for orchestra, academics, and art, I try to stay active and engaged in all aspects of life. Unfortunately, a serious knee issue has recently impacted my ability to stay involved in many of the activities I love.
After months of pain and difficulty moving, I was diagnosed with a severe meniscus injury. My doctors have recommended a meniscal transplant, a procedure necessary to restore function to my knee and allow me to return to normal activities. Without this surgery, I risk further damage to my knee, which could impact not just my daily life but also my future ambitions in art and design.
As you can imagine, the cost of this surgery is overwhelming, even with insurance. That’s why I’m humbly asking for your help. Your donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward the cost of the surgery, rehabilitation, and necessary medical expenses.
This surgery will mean the world to me, allowing me to fully pursue my dreams of attending art school and starting my own small business in drawing. With your support, I can heal and focus on what I love most.
All funds will go directly to surgery!
Thank you so much for considering being a part of my recovery journey!
